    perhaps it might be because, the weather bureau may be giving regular updates. but the lingo is so scientific, as to be confusing to the laymen.
    perhaps if they word their reports into something more useful... "uulan nang malakas at matagal mamaya. mag-babaha..."

    i just heard the weatherman's report over the radio.
    he tried to make it more pedestrian.
    i am a bit of a scientist myself, but i must admit, his report does not seem to come down to street level.

    Their second blunder in one day... Hindsight being 20 / 20.

    The kids are already in school. They should have waited mid afternoon to announce the suspension or let the classes complete, when the rain has subsided as predicted by PAGASA, so that the kids can go home without the elements.

    For tomorrow, QC local government announced the suspension of classes early and at same time as Manila, Malabon, Parañaque et al.....

    All goverment offices and public schools in the NCR including the kingdom of Makati have been suspended starting 1 pm by Malacanang. Private sector offices and schools at owners discretion...
