Thanks for the info.
PAGASA sucks.
Good thing our area, which was heavily flooded by Ondoy due to proximity to Laguna Lake, had damn dry streets. No flood.

FLASH REPORT!
Philippines to acquire Paul the Octopus due to its high prediction success rates! :hammer:
hey guys,
baka me mga katsikot dito na taga dasma cavite baka pwede paupdate if me kuryente na sa dasma bayan?
its so easy to blame PAGASA no? pero the agency is a victim of neglect all these years. they probably have good forecasters, but without the right equipment, training, forecasting will always be BS.
On the other hand, i cant understand why the agency seems unwilling to use the internet for info just like T2k.
Ngayon lang kami nag ka kuryente... Buti humabol bago matulog, hirap matulog ng walang kuryente...
speaking of generators, kailangan ba itakbo ito at least once a month kahit may kuryente naman para hindi masira. grabe kagabi wala charge laptop and cellphone ko. talagang caught unprepared sa bagyo. maybe i need to consider buying a generator for the house. my only concern is baka kalawangin or masira kagad since paminsan-minsan lang naman ang blackouts
Grabe ang trapik kanina along Sucat Road going to SLEX.....
10.3K:sumo:
T2k is more of a link page for other countries weather webpages. The least PAGASA could have done is accept help from other weather agencies. The 11pm bulletin by PAGASA didn't even reach the public since more than half of the city was with out electricity...

yup! that's what I do, run it once a month. sulit yun paminsan-minsan langiba talaga pag meron ilaw sa bahay. ako I can run probably two A/Cs with my gen set pero but blackout naman hinde ko na naiisip mag A/C basta meron lang fan ok na. and besides para tumagal yun gas.

I'm planning to buy one na.
I'm pretty sure na may susunod pang pahirap since 2nd typhoon lang ito this 2010.
