Yup!

I decided buuin ang edsa bound to roxas blvd then diretso R10 walang traffic. Walang baha.

Yun lang anlayo ng ikot hehe

This flooding thing is turning into a yearly event that everyone will dread.

There is no longer any peace of mind whenever it rains.

The floods today were totally unexpected and unpredictable.

Pity those who now live in areas that has become undesirable to most buyers.

Araneta Ave just like Espana is a catch basin. Underneath both roads is a big drain line that 2 trucks can run side by side. Just like any other drain system in the metro, hindi nalilinis kaya mabilis umapaw. BTW, those 2 streets are notorious for flooding since all of us here in tsikot were not born yet.

While mayors were announcing class suspensions left n right, parang wall masyadong naririnig from isko and erap. Even sec. Ochoa had to step in and declare class suspension in MM, quite late at that. It's the first time I've seen an exec secretary do that on behalf/behest of a mayor.

Nung nainterview so erap kahapon, the guy sounded groggy, searching for words -- at best, he wasn't on his game. I hope he and isko were up all night preparing for Mario.

When he was interviewed over the phone yesterday morning in UKG by Atom Araullo at around 7:30am, sabi nya meron na daw 4000 evacuated in Baseco. Then later when they showed the situatuion in Baseco, never got flooded.

MANILA, Philippines–Even as the severe flooding brought by the rains of Tropical Storm “Mario” that shut down Metro Manila on Friday brought memories of that other killer tropical storm five years ago, the amount of rainfall “Mario” continues to dump in the metropolis won’t be twice as much.
The highest (amount of rainfall) we saw for ‘Mario’ was around 200 millimeters,” Interior Secretary Manuel “Mar” Roxas II told a media briefing Friday.

No wonder this country is always in a disaster. We got stupid politicians talking about the weather as if their the expert instead of dealing with rescue & relief operation and what the goverment is doing to mitigate floodings.
