it took me less than 45 minutes from the usual 30 minutes, but it was a bit hair-raising, crossing the taft avenue river... at least, the water wasn't lapping at the flooring, like in ondoy. and i didn't see any van whose rear was being swept by the current.
buti na lang at nag-bibigayan ang mga motorista sa intersections.
kawawa yung mga naka vios atbp. they were U-turning or left/right-turning.
naka-handa na yung mga tulak boys. they were actually urging us on.

it's change engine oil time, as per 5K km schedule.
i'll have the guys change the trans oil and the banjo oil as well.

i wonder,
should i have the wheel bearings looked at, as well?

i crossed it at about 6 pm sa wimens.
nakaka-taas-balahibo.
at nakaka-inis yung mga tulak boys, egging the poor vioses on.
buti na lang the vioses had the sense to turn back.

Pulos ang napapanood ko ngayon sa YouTube eh yung mga baha sa China, India, Italy, Germany, Oman, Belgium, USA (NY, NJ, Utah, Arizona, Detroit) at syempre sa Philippines din. I wonder kung saan kaya i-aattribute nung mga climate change deniers yung mga pagbaha na ito.

i think of the good side.
i don't have to water the plants.

when i was a kid,
i was tasked to watering the plants.
even with a hose, it was a chore for impatient kids like me, who would rather watch the marvel super heroes in image-frozen cartoons on tv....
mom has a big garden, kasi, and pulling on that hose would invariably dirty my legs.

does mercury and ace have delivery service?

yes, drainage has improved.
easy come-da-baja, easy-go-da-baha. in hours.
in the olden days, the baja would last 2-3 days, relying partly on evaporation.

doc baha na yung garden at backyard namin Ngayon lang namin na realize na nag erode na soil sa bahay at kailangan na patambakan ulit. Yung bamboo sa perimeter namin 4 days ng lubog sa baha, I am worried it will die. Those bamboos give me privacy pa naman. Magkatapat kasi window ko sa neighbor namin hehehe

Kapag ang lumang bahay pala hindi na maintain regularly, 2020 and 2021 lang kami nag skip because of pandemic, tumulo na bubong namin. Para kaming shanty dito, may timba to catch water hehehe

I'd take really hot weather over rain talaga
