    MGB7 issued an advisory last August the area is prone to slide and should be evacuated. Mapping showed arcuate cracks measuring 10 meters wide and almost 40 meters deep near the area.
    Same type of rock in almost all deadly slide cases in Cebu. This type of limestone holds water because they are very porous. And water unlike air has weight.
    Condolence to those who lost a family in this tragedy.

    A storm is brewing... may take the same track as Ompong or even hit Central Luzon. It's around this time of year that storm go west rather than curve to the north ...

    I heard that the residents made an evacuation before only to return after a few weeks. They tempted fate.

    this whole area is at the mercy of the river that flows under that bridge along quezon ave (that river beside Honda Quezon Ave)
