the bagyo might miss landfall, but it still may attract considerable rainfall, 'ala ondoy and habagat.
i'm not worried over what the insects and lizards are saying. i am worried over the bullfrogs' return to magic mountain.

It's important to be aware, but not unduly alarmed.

Responsibility din natin not to promote panic by spreading unsubstantiated rumors. Post lang direct from official sources, pero wag na siguro mag add ng comment dun pag di naman qualified ang opinion natin- you know how facts get distorted as they travel through the "grapevine"... "yung apoy sa kalan na pinangsaing", becomes "malaking sunog sa neighborhood dahil may nagluto" by the 20th or something na tao umabot yung kwento.

Science ang meteorology, but the "Man Upstairs" still has the final say what will happen.

Manila is perfectly safe. The stronger the typhoon is, the more concentrated it becomes. So all the damage will be up north.

it's still so far away.
i heard the weatherman's interview with a radio anchor kanina.
the weatherman was just being polite, when he answered with "puede po", the anchor's queries.
but his read-between-the-lines-message was, "it's still too far to predict anything with some sense of reality".

This. This are just all forecast -pwedeng iba ang tunay na mangayari.

So kahit nasa CALABRZON ako tapos ang forecast ay sa NORTH LUZON dadaan, maghahanda pa din ako.
There is no harm in getting prepared.

Yung panic nangyayari lang yan sa mga hindi alam ang gagawin. Better listen to the local government regarding evacuations etc.
