PHILIPPINE National Police Traffic Management Group director Chief Supt. Ricardo C. Quinto yesterday created a special task force that will go after motorists using sirens, blinkers and other unauthorized gadgets.
The task force, headed by Senior Supt. Maximo B. Dilla, will also enforce the "no plate, no travel" policy.

In fact, mas dumami ngayon ang gumagamit ng blinkers and/or sirens. Namputsa, eh pati scooter at tricycles eh may mga sirens na eh. Some months ago, nakakita pa nga ako ng Kia Rio (yung hatchback) na may blinkers sa roof nya (like the ones that the US police use). a. hahayaan lang nila/dedma na lang dahil naka SUV
b. paparahin nila para bigyan ng warning
c. paparahin nila para kotongan
d. confiscate the items then let them go
e. gagawin nila ang tama (confiscate then issue violation ticket)
f. sasali din sila sa Legacy :lol:
ano sa palagay nyo peeps?

On my way to work this morning, may nakasabay kasi akong Mazda3 papuntang White Plains. Gray, with plate number XSM-144. But the thing is, I was only able to read the license plate because I was directly behind the car. Kung more than one car distance ka na, the plate would practically be invisible since the plate cover was tinted almost black.
I suddenly remembered that it was the second time na nakita ko ang kotseng ito. On both occasions, it was headed for the general vicinity of Ortigas. Which struck me as odd, since the "no plate, no travel" policy is in force there. Nahuhuli kaya at nasisita ang kotseng ito ng mga traffic enforcers doon?
Paano kung nakaaksidente at tumakas ang kotseng ito? Witnesses and authorities would be hard-pressed to identify the car because they didn't clearly see the license plate.
Kung sino man ang may-ari ng Mazda3 na ito, mahiya at makonsensya ka naman sa kapwa mo motorista.Last edited by Bogeyman; August 18th, 2005 at 02:16 PM.

August 18th, 2005 01:51 PM #10alam ko bawal na may obstruction sa pagtingin sa plate numbers e, so kahit nasa tamang pwesto pa yan basta may nakaharang o nakatabing na nakakasagabal sa pagtingin sa license plate, dapat bawal un, identity ng sasakyan un e.

August 18th, 2005 02:34 PM #11hindi lang naman dapat kung kailan naghihigpit ang law enforcement atsaka susunod ang mga tao e. of course government has its share too, pero dapat alam na ng mga tao mismo kung ano tama at mali... hindi yung susunod pag mahigpit tapos laro ulit pag nawala yung bantay
that's why manila culture is in so ways really pathetic...
