M2...kung tuloy kayo grandpa's inn...be sure to get the largest room..kasi di ako sure dun sa mas maliliit..last time andun kami..yung mga nasa lower end rooms shares t&b..while yung room namin is complete na...

tip lang..nung nandun kami dagsa ang seaweeds..as in fresh at pwede ka mamulot pang salad..kaso mo..pag lumalangoy ka..nakakagulat kasi pumupulupot sa paa..at medyo (what do u call that???) biglang lalim ang tubig from a very short distance from the shore...

sana pagpunta nyo wala masyado seaweeds..para maenjoy nyo

btw..may mga gig clubs din like bora kaso during weekends lang..

just to share..nung first time ko magpunta pagudpud, nagtanong muna ako sa mga tao dun kung ano ang pinaless-expensive..kasi talagang balak ko magstay ng 1week noon..they brought me to NORTH RIDGE resort..napakabait ng magasawang may ari nyan..maliit na bungalow lang yun with 4rooms..aircon and t&b lang...walang tv..ang maganda..they offered to make palengke and cook for us na lang instead daw na kakain kami sa mga resto around kasi mahal din daw..pumayag ako at dahil nga mga ilocano, di ka nila tatagain talaga..plus pwede ka magpalaba at bahala ka kung magkano ibibigay mo sa maglalaba...

    well...mas maraming hi-end resorts naman..makakapamili ka...

i've stayed in vigan plaza hotel, when we hit late going to my hometown in batac. nice, para kang nasa hotels sa makati. presyong makati ren . it's owned by chavit's son.

there are virgin beaches at the skirts of vigan (meaning no resorts, just pure beach).

some of the things we do in vigan:
    baluarte
    crisologo museum
shop at the national heritage site
try the sinanglao (soup made of carabao, supposedly an aphrodisiac)
try the empanada in front of the town plaza ask for the one with longganiza in it.
buy chichacorn and bibingka (small round ones)
drink with the buddies, there's a bar open till the wee hours of the night in at the entrance of the heritage site. just be friendly and you'll be ok

cabugao is 30-45 minutes away. the beach is ok, except for patches of rocky sand. fort ilocandia is about the same. you can also do 4x4 drives in laoag.

ilocos is a haven for photographers.

ang sarap nga ng sinanglao...traditionally u eat it with arroz...yung empanada grabe..may longanisang vigan at itlog..

actually nung sinuyod nami ang ilocos..its because of the churches..lalo na yung sa paoay..kaso during that time under construction yung interior nya...nwei..just to share...bakit sobrang init ng paoay and batac compared sa ibang towns ng ilocos..nung nandun ako halos di ako makahinga sa sobrang init ng hangin...
