there are (local) emergency cases wherein penile rings and other "appliances" constrict the erect penis, making it impossible for the organ to return to its flaccid state.

treatment includes blood aspiration from the penis... or removal of the device.

Extended constriction (if the device is not removed in time) would lead to ischemia and necrosis of the penis... the treatment is penectomy

hehehe... not necessarily a cure. What it does is stimulate one's defecation reflex. If the person is severely constipated to almost causing Gastro-Intestinal Obstruction, it does not matter if you stimulate one's defecation reflex, his/her poop won't come out on it's own.
