No offense to anyone but it's rather annoying to read forum posts that are written in shortened text message form.

yup... that is rather annoying... although this is understandble when sending SMS but when you have a full QWERTY keyboard - i don't think so.

i think PK was the one who initially brought this subject up a year ago.

    I completely agree.

Kya nga my keybord pra d mgshortcut e.

    Hehe, nakakairita di ba?
Kaya lalo namumurder ang English language sa paggamit ng "text language". I just hope people would post properly, and use the correct sentence construction.

Yes. I agree with you people. Please tell the posters to type real sentence and not as text message type. Ang sakit sa mata. Di naman nila kailangan magtipid.

Plus, I don't know if its just me. But I've seen a lot of typos from posters. I don't know if they thought it's the right spelling (they must have learned it from texters) or they're just plain dumb and don't know how to spell correctly.

For a better forum, please respect the inputs from us.

I did PM members who use SMS shortcuts before, but instead of replying correctly, they didn't bother to post again.

Matagal na rin po ito sinasabi sa mga members, but unfortunately, even some of the moderators I've noticed use it too.

Sorry guys! Just cant help it!

Anyways yeah, it is pretty annoying, buti na lang tried and true Tsikoteers are aware of this and abide by our unwritten rules....

Pero ang daming sadyang makulit! kinda makes you wonder what's happening to our youth nowadays. I mean, what's the hell's wrong with basic Netiquette?

Yeah, i totally agree. Tayo kasi may malay na, e what about the kids who actually grew up texting. Nakakainis na nga wrong spelling, sms shortcuts pa?

Imagine, meron nga silang internet, google and all the other wonders of technology pero hindi sila makapagsearch dahil hindi marunong mag spell and form effective sentences. hehe.

Kaya siguro ginawa ang HSRT (High School Readiness Test);napansin siguro ng DepEd na mahina na sa sentence construction, spelling, grammar, etc ang mga kabataan naten. Di ba nga kung ano ang nakikita ng mga bata sa mas nakakatanda eh ginagaya na rin nila, thinking it's the right way to do it?

...oh well, it's not a perfect world anyways, at least we do our part
