I have to admit never pa akong naka kita ng ghost but the poltergeist incident in my uncle's house made me a believer.

Sadyang may mga tao lang talagang di nakaka kita hence they make fun of those who have experienced such paranormal events.

Our Samsung Blu-ray player is demon possessed. :shocked2:
When I open the tray, it suddenly closes before I can load the disc. I should take it to an exorcist.

During my stay there (back in Marcos' time), my relatives kept telling me to stay away from bamboo thickets and weird-looking groves of banana plants at night. They said ghosts/evil spirits dwelt there.

Of course, I didn't listen. In all the times I passed through them (they're a shortcut on the way home), nothing bad ever happened to me. The worse thing that happened to me was I stepped on human poo because the squatters nearby used them as their toilet.

I never did figure out why my relatives were so scared. They never had any stories to tell.

when the wind blows, the bamboos move, "generating sounds", and your imagination goes into overdrive, driven by childhood scary stories.
the banana plants naman... the ground under them is somewhat soggier than otherwise.. and yes... poo... the poo stays fresh, longer.

I dunno. It was weird to see superstitious relatives when my own mom wasn't. My aunts kept trying to convince me to be careful. Of course, that only made me more curious. Where they didn't want me to go, that's where I went.

Back then, there were many areas in Cavite where there were no paved roads and people didn't have electricity. I'd explore the area, sometimes so late into evening, I barely made the last jeepney back to civilization.

Bahay namin dati sa QC circa 70s eh up and down. Sabi ni nanay, in the days after the passing of our eldest (she was 13 then), laging may kumakatok sa drawer ni ate sa second floor, so hindi na pinagamit ni nanay ang room nya, dahil iniisip nya na ayaw ipagamit sa family member. Di pa din tumigil pagkatok, so one day naisip daw ni nanay na ayusin at tupiin lahat ng damit para itago na permanently at idispose na ang drawer ni ate decorated with butterflies and girly stuff dahil hindi mawala ang knocking at natatakot na pati mga kapitbahay (one time daw kasi kumaripas ng takbo palabas ng bahay ang bisitang kumare ni nanay nung marinig ang katok sa kwarto pero walang tao). So habang hinahalungkat ang mga damit, nakita ni nanay ang isang card na hand-made na may message na binuo ng mga ginupit na letters from magasin, addressed to nanay. She knew then na yun ang reason ng pagkatok, may gusto lang ipahanap.

Since that day, tumigil na knocking. I think this happened within the 40-day period of her passing.

There's no reason to fear, Cathy, as long as there is no human poo beside it. LOL.
