My dad arrived in May and he's planning to go back home to US on Jan.
Do someone knows kung ilang months lang dapat mag-stay dito sa Pinas
ang US Citizen na walang fee na babayaran? And if he's indeed overstayed,
how much kaya ang kailangan upon departure niya? Before kasi maximum of
3 months lang bumabalik na siya doon.
TIA

You must mean a Philippine visa fee. Last time I remember, it was less than 30 days. But, that was almost a decade ago. My daughter has her US citizenship by birth and my wife's via naturalization. They stayed 3 weeks in the Philippines (last year) and didn't have to pay any fees. Maybe someone else here might have a better answer.

it would be better to avail the Dual Citizenship para wala ng hussle kung gaano man katagal mag-stay dito. di na kailangan ng visa. walang expiration as i understand it.

December 18th, 2006 06:40 PM #7If upon entry to the Phil, you tell the immigration offical that you are a balikbayan, you can stay in the Philippines for a year without the need for a visa. He will then stamp your passport accordingly.
