ingat nalang when riding public transpo and kung naglalakad sa daan. You'll never know kung san ka aabutin ng malas

It just goes to show that you cannot expect other persons --be they security guards or police officers-- to be responsible for your safety. If good persons like myself can get through security checkpoints armed and undetected, what more for unstable persons with evil intent.

The reality of the situation is, your safety depends on the measures you yourself take to stay safe. Choose the self-defense tools that you would be comfartable using, and practice with them regularly. Also, stay physically fit. You would have a hard time warding off a crazed, knife-wielding attacker if you are overweight, weak and out of breath.

Be a boy scout. Be prepared.

Ingat lang talaga, and don't forget to pray. Delikado na kasi panahon ngayon.
