December 31st, 2006 08:34 AM #2i would like to see the badboy win this one para may part 3 pa. but my gut feeling says iceman will win again. why? though tito is younger, stronger, and more well rounded fighter overall. chuck will beat him because iceman is a counter puncher, very patient w/ his strikes and doesn't let his emotions get the better of him. those i think will be the keys to iceman's triumph... IMHO
either way i love seeing both these guys fight...

December 31st, 2006 05:57 PM #13there was an earlier match refereed by big john mccarthy involving a similar situation. instead of stopping the fight, he let the round pass.
while in the ortiz fight, the ringside commentators were even saying that chuck did not appear to be seriously hurting ortiz. replays show that some punches were deflected by ortiz's arms.
bottomline, the referees exercised their respective discretion. sayang lang at hindi si mccarthy yung referee sa main event. sori man if i hurt ur sensibilities
