    we can't blame lgu's lack of action. they are victims here too. probably still shell-shocked up to now. if plan A fails, dapat move to plan B or C.

    LGU's accountability with regards to preparation can be clearly exemplified by Tacloban Mayor Romualdez. Their house is fronting the sea, and as narrated by Kring-kring, nandun sila sa house nila during the height of the typhoon. They should have led by example nung nagpa-pre-emptive evac sila. Just because manyon ang kanila di na sila evacuate? paano susunod ang tao?

    Hindi ba pwede i-relocate muna ung mga tao sa lugar na hindi masyadong na apekto ng bagyong yolanda? tapos doon na ibigay ang mga relief goods and then clearing operation and re-construction mangyayari sa bayan ng tacloban at iba pang probinsya na lubhang na apektuhan.

    No they're too freaking incompetent. Sinabihan ng Category 5 ang Typhoon at may dalang strom surge estimated at 5 meters, wala lang sa kanila. Ngayon excuse naman nila eh "victim din kami" buti sana kung isang City lang tong affected. National Government resource are spread thin.

    Yan isang example ng incompetence yang si Romualdez, di nya ata alam ang ibig sabihin ng storm surge na dala ng Cat 5 typhoon.

    sabi ko nga walang meaning sa pinoy ang "storm surge"

    pero alam na alam ng pinoy kung ano ang tsunami kaya lang hindi proper na gamitin ang term na tsunami sa storm warning

    but who cares about being proper when lives are at stake

    sinabi sana ng PAGASA magkakaroon ng tsunami natakot sana mga tao

    Storm Surge yung Spirals at US Embassy before...umabot hangang Taft yung baha that time.

    If it's in the scale of Yolanda, aabot ata ng Makati yung baha...

    That is what irks me. It is a supertyphoon pero binaliwala. Grabe kung magpost sa peysbuk at mag-twit-twit mga tao pero ma-research man lang ang storm surge hindi magawa. Hindi daw nila alam kung ano yun?

    Si arcan nang INC dapat pala pinabaunan ko nang sabon papunta bilibid. Sayang nabigay na kaninang umaga.
