let's admit it. Coming from being a laughing stock several years ago, PAGASA have made a turn around. Milya-milya layo ng accuracy ng forecast nila nowadays and also the way they relay the info. Being taken seriously na sila (ng mga educated).

I admit na isa ako sa tumawa sa pagasa sa forecast nila na superbagyo daw si Yolanda. And i told my staff weak si yolanda. Maaga kami pinauwi that time. Nagimbal na lang ako when i watched tv. Eyeopening itong yolanda for me. Noong ondoy kampante ako di binaha ang village namin. Pero itong yolanda. In the future, once pagasa forecast na malakas ang bagyong paparating. Maghahanada na ako. Tama kayo guys, accurate na sila this days.

Yeah, yeah, it's crappy that she's only giving ten percent to charity, and I suppose that's the real story here, but mostly I'm curious as to why she's doing the thing in the first place.

Like, why sell the clothes on eBay? Is it really for the little bit of attention that the charity tie-in gets her? Hasn't she had plenty of attention recently? I honestly think that she's selling her clothes on eBay just to sell her clothes on eBay. The lady will earn a buck wherever she can earn a buck. And while she's a dodo bird who's never had one interesting thing to say, I find this aspect of her respectable in some odd way. The lady's been at work 24/7/365 for like years now. No gig is too big or too small. Sure she'll stage an elaborate sham wedding for television. And sure she'll throw some old **** in a garbage bag and hawk it on the Internet. Why not?
