August 13th, 2012 01:13 AM #1Parang slambook question lang? haha. Saw a quote kasi on the Rex Book Store Facebook fan page from Grucho Marx - “I find television very educating. Every time somebody turns on the set, I go into the other room and read a book.” Would you rather read or watch TV? :P I love both pero since i have to choose one, parang I watch TV more than I do read :P

Iba na kasi ngayon eh. Pero i still prefer reading to gain knowledge. Personal preference ko lang naman though we live in media, etc.

Pag TV,- NatGeo, Discovery, Animal Planet, Turbo, History, Bio, Bloomberg, CNN, BBC, ESPN, Solar, Star Sports....
Books,- I (think I) got a collection of series of (old used) books, which are now being sold as bargain. I have them and other books also as e-books and some as audio books.

Kapag bata pa at nag-aaral, books majority at TV kapag yung eductaional stuff.
Kaya palatulog ako noon at TV addict ngayon eh. Bumabawi. But it is the right thing to do. up to now 20/20 pa din vision ko, mabilis magbasa at hindi ma-bobore kahit walang TV kasi kahit ano babasahin ko including you know what....Last edited by Ry_Tower; August 13th, 2012 at 10:01 AM.

Books. No contest. TV can be educational... but a book allows you to move at your own pace.
The best is an e-book with videos added.

I seldom watch TV. I only use it when I'm using my console to play. I'd rather read books instead (or e-books...) than watch some crappy telenovela on the local television.
If it's news, though, especially if it's important news I switch it on and pay attention.
