I guess I buck the trend even though I'm here. First, I drive a 06 Hyundai Sonata. It has the brand recognition of gum on the road. Second, it's as bone stock now as the the day we brought it home except for the Pinoy flag plates up front.

Of course, I have voices in my head whispering, "Supercharge, supercharge, supercharge.......must.......resist.......voices......."

Plus, I wouldn't mind public transportation in RP so long as it's one of those big air-conditioned buses. Gives me a better view to survey the area for hot-looking chicks..........

Add: It's also a lot less stress not having to drive and be stuck in traffic. In fact, I remember thinking just that when I was still a student over there. Instead of being short-fused like my dad who's the one driving, all I did was grin silently as I thought, "Hot babe at two o clock!" . Yup, there's some benefits in not having to drive your own car.

The car as a status symbol passed pretty quickly for me.
