get something with atleast a heart rate monitor, so that you'll know if your training is effective or not.

magnetic is better. mas mahirap resistance ng roller. para kang tumatakbo may posas sa paa. hard on the joints too.

although the heart rate monitor is an extra, get one which is motorized magnetic. yung parang sa mga gym. or else, di mo rin yan gagamitin, sayang lang pera.

sa heart rate monitor, you can just get one na nasa watch (parang suunto or polar or timex), mas accurate.

with regards to your query, i think dahil 7k lang ang price nyan, mukhang manual roller yung nakita mo sa toby's.

ngayon kung talagang 7k lang budget mo, my advise is for you to just get a stationary bike....more friendly on your knees.

Yup, mas maganda yung motorized. Tsaka yung adjustable incline. Syet, dahil tapos na ang business namin, I better get back to the gym one of these days.

Dati kinukulit ako ng pinsan ko na mag-canvass ng treadmill para sa kanya. Sabi ko, pagawa na lang siya ng pang-exercise sa hamster, pero human-scale yung laki.

    tip... when buying gym equipments.

shop around sa mga gyms (slimmers, ff, golds). i think these gyms change equipments every 3 years. baka makatyamba.

mahirap ang treadmill na hindi motorized, pagod ka na in just a few minutes. and hindi ka pwedeng tumakbo or sobrang hirap sa non-motorized treadmill.
