Under the cover of a transport caravan para di matangalan ng franchise...

MANILA, Philippines - Transport groups have begun to rally support for a massive strike planned for Thursday.

Urban groups handed out flyers at Philcoa in Quezon City, while a coalition against oil price increase in Caloocan held a noise barrage.

They blame government for failing to act on the series of fuel price hikes.

Transport group Piston said simultaneous protests will be held in different parts of the country like Isabela, Santiago, Baguio, Laguna, Bicol and Metro Manila on Thursday.

"Fifty jeeps ang sasali. Ang reklamo namin 'yong patuloy na pagtaas ng presyo ng langis," said Piston president George San Mateo.

They will march from Quezon City Circle to the main office of oil giant Chevron Philippines in Makati City.

Protest actions will also be held in different areas in Metro Manila which will be participated in by government employees.

Different government agencies have met to discuss preparations for Thursday's protests.

Or my ipis suggestion from before.

Sige, strike kayo para walang traffic. Very nice cause as well, pressuring the Philippine gov't to bring down gas prices worldwide.
