After the wedding bro. Just making sure everything is smooth sailing as early as now so that we wouldn't need to worry about it after the wedding anymore.

The 2nd compressor could've been placed on top of the 1st one using a frame ... Additional balcony space ...

Good choice. Future Daikin user here (dsmart and smart elite). 3 weeks ng installed still waiting for move-in.

I went with the setup na magkapatong yung outdoor unit tapos same drain nalang sila. Yung connection ng pvc pipe was right after the bottom compressor

Hmmm, on the 2nd pic, it seems they built the cover around the AC. Come trouble time, it would take more work to remove & repair. The framework of false beam concealing the pipes should've been done 1st w/ lines pre-laid & the AC unit mounted onto the painted surface last.

I didn't quite understand what you proposed. What they did was install the aircon pipes then cover it up with plaster or plywood or whatever it is thst they used. Basta if there's a problem then bakbakin lang yung wall then fix whatever's leaking then make a new false pillar/ceiling again.

Form > function for me. Ayoko ng industrial look na nakalabas yung pipes. Basta utos ko was to have the aircons installed and make sure the pipes aren't an eyesore. They delivered on that request so I'm fine.

Pipes 1st, false beam cover & paint next, AC unit last. Same form + more ease when that dreaded time comes. Lesser collateral damage.

So dalawang balik pa ng aircon installer? Parang hassle. Baka icharge pa ko ng extra labor ng aircon installer. The installer did their job in a day then my contractor did all the finishing afterwards.

    Walang anuman, nagtatanong lang naman.

    May sense ka nga kausap.

Di tulad ng iba. Masyado papansin, lahat pinapansin, lahat pinapakailaman.

Ikaw nga tinatanong ko, nauna pa sumagot sa yo.

Floor mounted, you mean? In areas w/o walls, this & ceiling ones are the options. Floor blows lower, cooling will be felt faster. Another advantage is maintenance. Floor mounted is way easier to access & clean.

We use this type of PU foam spray for the wood jamb-concrete gaps. Good insulator & very stable adhesive, yet easy to remove. It's multi-purpose.

^ That and those GreatStuff brand available at Ace and Handyman even online.

If not available i'd use the generik silicon sealant less than P50 from the hardware, just buy a good caulking gun i bet that should last forever in your hole/gap sealing needs. Downside of silicon is the vinegar/ammonium smell while curing.
