how about used calcium carbide, yung nakapagreact na with water to produce acetylene gas? ano na yun?

it's also used in miner's helmets nung wala pang battery

coz the calburo that i have here is white, lumpy and doesn't produce acetylene na. kasi its been used to produce acetylene na. ano na ito?
