i think it's common sense to think that weapons aren't allowed, but i'll ask anyways: pwede ba ipadala via balikbayan box yung pocket knife?
Would the size of the blade matter? How about a kitchen knife?

Yes. We've had kitchen knives sent through balikbayan box. I don't think pocket knives would be an issue.
This is from the US through sea freight.
you sent a samurai warrior through a balikbayan box? LOL
it's called a katana
knives are OK even on checked luggage
my uncle brought his true samurai in US. but that was a decade though.
hehehe!
pwede swords and cutlery basta sea freight kasi di masyado strict pag sea freight. pag air cargo mas stringent ang x-ray inspection process. some people were even able to send firearms by sea freight balikbayan boxes. kinakalas yung baril tapos nilalagay sa tool box kasama ng tools.
Car spare parts you can send by sea cargo....I tried sending for my explorer
How much na ba ngayon 1 balikbayan box from US?
Can someone point me to which seafreight you guys are referring to?
