May 5th, 2014 11:53 AM #13Aristocrat chicken mas masarap yung dating luto nila. May effect din siguro yung hindi charcoal grilled siya, especially yung branches na nasa mall.
Majority of appliances today are no longer built to last, parang may set lifespan to ensure bibili ka ulit ng bago after ilang years.
McDonald's quarter pound use to really be a quarter pounder in weight. Dati ito laging binibili ko dahil almost same price ng big Mac pero di hamak na mas malaki siya, ngayon liit na niya, naming na lang yung quarter pounder niya.

May 5th, 2014 01:05 PM #14yung pringles ngayon parang lasang karton at arina.
yung cheese flavor din pangit na... wala na din yung cheezums na flavor....
sayang you tag line na "once you pop, you can't stop" kasi sobrang pangit na.
chickenjoy: naging puro cornstarch at harina na din. nawala na yung dating lasa nung bata ako.actually halos buong lineup ng jollibee nagbago lasa. buti pa sa mcdo lumiliit lang serving at minor change in taste lang.
OT: i used to think na baka tumanda lang ako at nagiba na standards and flavors na hanap. good to know marami din pala nakapansin.

May 5th, 2014 01:21 PM #15household electric fans. yung dati, yari sa magandang metal at mabigat. yung swivel joints ay pang-kotseng harabas. today, plastics..
cars. nung nabangga ako, lubog ang bumper, fender and headlight assembly. but then, thinking long and hard, i suppose it is better to have the car suffer multiple and more expensive repair jobs, than to have the one pedestrian fracture a leg. hospital bills are more expensive than most car repair bills.
hand tools! nasan na ang made in japan at made in u.s.a.? stanley (japan!), crescent, etc. just take a look at the ancient vise grip from the u.s.a., and the vise grips in the market today.
amici / caramia ice cream. either my tongue is losing its taste, or the italian ice cream is..

Some appliances even outlive the owners. We have a ref in the province that was bought around the 50s or 60s and it's still working. There's a lever that you need to pull to open. Very retro My Lola did not want to get rid of it though everyone was saying that it consumes too much electricity.
That is so true. I hate how everything is made out of plastic nowadays.

A lot of junk foods today eh puro hangin ang laman. Sample are Doritos, Lays, V-Cut, Potato Chips.
Gadgets and appliances, even cars break down easily. Reason is due to mass production. Kung baga, quantity over quality na sila ngayon. Unlike dati na quality over quantity.
