I have all 40 episodes of Voltes V. That's about it, though. The only other anime I'm interested in is Starblazers.

Mazinger Z is my favorite robot. I've collected the entire Soul of Chogokin line diecast robots which includes any member of the Mazinger family including Great Mazinger, Getter Robo, Grendaizer, etc.
However, i didn't get the quiapo dvds as most of subtitles originate from China with their atrocious grammer and spelling. Kaka walang gana panoodin.

Mazinger Z was the first of the Japanese robot cartoons I remember watching. Mazinger Z was great until Voltes V came along to which it played 2nd fiddle for the rest of the time I can remember.

Sayaka? Aphrodite A lang. Well, you can get more than an eyeful of Sayaka in the Mazinkaiser series.

Mazinger Z is the granddaddy of all the super robots. Voltes V is actually a remake of Combattler V. Try watching Combattler and you will see that the characters look alike.

I remember reading somewhere that Combattler, Voltes V, plus another super robot, whose name I can't recall, form a trio of robots thought up by one Japanese author.

It was kind of hit and miss for me because by that time, I was getting more active in my HS soccer varsity team. I missed a lot of episodes and often an entire series.

How did it end ba? Can't remember na.

Yung ending ng Voltes V and Daimos, napanood ko sa Betamax. Pero wala yata available sa Mazinger. Foggy na rin recollection ko sa series, the only characters I can remember are Koji Kabuto, Sayaka and Baron Ashler

    My sentiments exactly.

I used to watch them all. Help me out here guys.

    Monday - Mazinger Z
    Tuesday - Daimos
    Wednesday - ??
    Thursday - UFO Grendaizer
    Friday - Voltes V

May die-cast ako dati ng Daimos at Voltes V. I have seen a re-issue of the die-cast for Voltes V just released last year. Ang ganda and really made for collectors.

No wonder I missed Daimos and Grendaizer. Soccer practice was Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturday. That's why Grendaizer sounded a little strange....

The third would be Tosshou Daimos (Fighting King Daimos).

All three form the so-called Robot Romance Trilogy by Tadao Nagahama.
