    kapit sa patalim ang Smart in going with this promo. they can't afford not to follow the competition, baka magswitch mga subscribers nila since sila nalang walang unlimited call and text. and they're also afraid this will backfire on them. they claim to have 20million subscribers (more than 90% of which are prepaid subscribers). even if only half of their subscribers will avail of the unlimited call and text promo, siguradong bagsak ang buong system nila. that's why i think they came up with these mechanics (texting the number before calling and the 5 min disconnection time).

    already posted this on another thread "Smart 25/8"... copy ko lang dito...
    i got a new smart sim kagabi around 7pm. it has p50 load na daw so nagpa-eload pa ako ng 115.. the saleslady said that to register, i should text 258 and send it to 889. so ginawa ko, but smart's 889 reply was "Thank you for your registration request. To serve you better, we are currently enhancing the service. Service will be available on March 12".. i didn't receive anymore messages after that one so she said to register na lang bukas..

    so i tried to register again around 1:50am today,march 12. and here's the smart's reply thru 889... "Sorry the promo for SMART 258 UNLIMITED CALL has already ended"... i tried to do it again 2 minutes later but got the same reply..

    HUWATTTTTT...
    tried to register again ngayon lang, still got the same reply...is this gonna be a ONE-DAY promo ???

    medyo OT po: just saw sa replay * ANC, DLSU students developed an SMS reading device for the blind. sana they get backing from the gov't to make this an industry platform for the telco's. and sana the inventors get the credit they deserve.

    a celfone for the blind has already been invented by a blind person (a Filipino)!

    it works by reading out loud the menus, messages, etc.

    ang TM naman, pag magtxt na ng TM 300 to 2824 palagi naman message failed, sbi ng customer support may sira daw...woooo baka ayaw na ata mag2loy ng unlimited e! bastos talaga!

    ingenious i would say!

    one thing I just like about smart right now is their smart roaming service. pero lately, i've been receiving delayed messages...pretty far from being smart...about the new service? well I guess they would just have to fix it up! :D

    Hi kiper,

    To initiate a call, you must text the number of the party you are calling and send it to 882. (ie: 09192222222, send to 882).

    You will then receive a call from 882. After you answer, a call (displaying your number) will be made to the party your calling.
