As for my case, ako lang ang Filipino sa group nmin at nakakasawa na din mag english just to talk to somebody. Minsan pag may iniisip tayo during times na nag iisa lang tayo (like while driving), may mga sinasabi tayo sa sarili natin.

Is this really normal? Are there any psychological/scientific reasons for this?
I talk to myself all the time. It started when I started driving from coast to coast alone when I was still young and single. 3-4 days alone in a car was enough to drive me mad if I didn't talk at some point.

Then, that passed on to work. Sometimes on a tough day, I'd talk aloud. My coworker would sometimes ask, "Are you trying to talk to me?" I'd reply, "Nope. I'm just being INSANE. Lemme alone".

At home, I dare not talk to myself. With all the lewd thoughts going on in my brain...... too dangerous. Wife might hear or worse, the kid.
