Hmmm, a number of these volcanic earthquakes (at least the ones that can be located) are occurring outside volcano island and the lake.

    Any significance to this kaya?

consider the real volcano crater is the lake itself,
    not much, siguro.
    secondaries.
    but i'm no volcano-logist.

Am just wondering - the white "dust particles" (more recognizable) on our black ride in recent days,- could they be ashfalls from Taal?...🙄🤔

    if i remember,
the pinatubo volcano ash wasn't ash as we know it.
it was very fine sandpaper material.
rub it between your two fingers, sir.
and whatever you do, don't rub off the ash from your car using basahan, in case it is indeed volcanic ash.

    i am curious,
how far is your car from taal?
when pinatubo erupted, our car here in pasay got some of that ash.

Ash is a descriptive term. It refers more to grain size (2mm or less) rather than what it looks/feels like.

    you are correct.
ash as we-common-tao know it, crumbles into dust when we handle it. Ash Wednesday ash.
cremated human remains ash is actually grains of hard material, 1-2 mm in size.
