    nobody knows

pwede ba siya sumabog mamaya? oo
pwede ba siya sumabog bukas? oo
pwede ba siya sumabog next week or next month? oo

But our attitudes don’t help either.

    syempre that's human nature

people want things to go back to normal

    ano gusto mo gawin nila?

    give up?

    abandon lahat?

what if hindi sumabog uli ang taal?

    you're dealing with people's psychology

Waiting game lang talaga ngayon. As per CNN's latest update, mejo mas kalmado ngayon ang Taal sa labas. Nasa ilalim daw ang mga activities.

This is actually scarier. This means none of the energy is being released and, instead, is being pent up like a pressure cooker.

I don't know how true is this but does make sense. I hope this isn't true.

kaya need baguhin, hindi sa wlang paki kasi meron ties or easier said than done.

ng unang panahon pwede head hunting, tradition na nila- nabago na. yung pagkain ng aso uso dati kasi nasa culture, now even in the highland where it is legal to eat dog, this is delcining.

need mabago kaysa puro waste of money, manpower and lives! ang makuha natin sa maliit na kita lamang.... ultra rich lang naman yumaman diyan eh

let the 14km be a permanent danger zone where it is illegal to live.

after a major disaster where there are many deaths, a permanent danger zone will work

LGU will strictly enforce and citizens will obey coz the disaster is fresh in memory

but after years and decades pass the volcano remains peaceful people will go back to the danger zone and the LGU won't be as strict as before

kasi naging distant memory nalang ung disaster

and a new generation grows up who didn't experience the disaster

After many changes in LGU leaders through the years and decades, nakalimutan na ang enforcement ng danger zone

and it will take another major eruption to make people leave the danger zone

    paulit ulit lang mangyayari yan

if volcanoes erupt every few weeks you'll have a voluntary permanent danger zone... you don't even need to enforce it

problem is the time between eruptions is decades to centuries

    -

which is why madami tumira at nag invest around taal lake

ang haba ng period of peace

    IT'S COMPLACENCY

people don't see a deadly volcano

people only see an idyllic place

where lots of people go, capital follows

None. Farmers go in and out, but no permanent settlements. The LGU there is strict and the people understand. Frequent eruptions enforce that mindset.

    Kaya it’s a test talaga

The lake will seduce you of its beauty. she will ask you to live there, to live abundantly.

Then she will take it away.

Then so on and so forth with the next generations.

But do take note, the next time could be wala na tayo lahat. As in kung pumutok siya as supervolcano,

It could be the next 200 years before the survivors go back there and forget everything thats happened.

Eh kita mo nga ngaun, matindi na naman ang Anti-Semitism sa Europe, despite all history written to it - re the Holocaust of Hitler.

Eh kasi the Jews are back in their old ways na nagpapautang at magalling humawak ng pera. But Europeans are in debt and they’re setting their crosshairs sa mga nagpapautang para maburra ulit utang. So World War 2 will repeat itself.

Ang galing kasi ng mga Jews sa pera, balita Mga Hudyo na daw may hawak ng Jollibee abroad, kaya kabi-kabilang ang open as well as buying CBTL, burger king, smashburger ganun.

Yan ang tao, paulit ulit lang because even if we pray, even if we say we are religious and understand the Passion of the Christ, pag nahirapan na tayo, wala na, self-preservation na kagad ang inuuna.

Eh first test pa lang yun mga tiga-Batangas, ang iniisip na kagad nila , “pwede ba tumigil ka na lake, at back to business na kami” tsk tsk

imagine how hard it is to enforce a danger zone when a volcano has remained peaceful for decades

"how bawal dyan! baka sumabog ang bulkan!"

"ngek! kelan huling sumabog ang bulkan na ito?!"

"panahon ng lolo ng lolo ko"

    "bwahahaha"

Wala naman problema dun kung may nakalimutan sila kasi bigla sila nagtakbuhan nun eruption or kailangan kumain ng manok at baboy

They should start to talk to the lake itself, “Apo, makikiraan lang po at baka mamatay si piggy si horsey, alam ko hirap na hirap ka na ngaun at partly kasalanan ko ito nakadagdag pa ako sa burden mo. “

Do they whisper simple prayers like that?

Nature supercedes man. Not the other way around. Hinde porkit wala kikitain, sira livelihood, maghihirap, yun ang tama. media is not helping either. Baluktot na katwiran yun

God is the creator, Nature is the provider, Man is just the inhabitant. But both God and Nature want man to be there.

Time will come and man will be tested, o i-pause ko muna ang mga ineenjoy mo, why? Because it’s a test to you, how far you’ve come? Are you just an addict who fished and fished or planted and planted like drug addicts? Are you strong enough to face a challenge na if everything is taken away from you, hinde ka mag downhill from here on?

Kung tuusin there is courage for people to risk their lives to enter the danger zone. But are they doing it for true display of courage Or self-preservation lang talaga.

The lake knows and she is keeping tabs of these attitudes.

Sigurado puputok if man did not learn anything at all.

so that has to be the collective thinking of us all know, we should all RESPeCT the lake and the volcano truthfully. And baka ma-spare tayo ...
