Magaling talaga sila... Keep everyone delighted on the surface,- while they steal everything else underneath.... :twak:

there is really danger in populist politics. but on the brighter side, it keeps our standard of living low. since Manila is always rated as third world country dahil na din sa presence na mga less fortunate brothers natin, the educated rich can really take advantage of it.

imagine a big mac in hongkong costs Php 350 and in the the US Php 250, yan ang price for being rated as 1st world. pero dito sa'tin sa halagang 100+ naka big mac ka na

kaya nga there is a big gap between the rich and the poor, the rich becoming richer and the poor becoming poorer, bec the rich enjoys the advantages of what is extended to the poor and then gamitin pa ang utak to get the finer things while the poor is always complaining and resting and despair-ing now I know why our Media is always negative. kasi negative news filter the weak minded from the strong-minded. pag lagi nababasa sa dyaryo eh puros masama, laging takot ang mahirap kumilos at lagi walang pagasa. and therefore, the opportunities are missed but for the rich for the taking.

that's why i love the setup here.

palpak nga yang lina law na yan. . .it somehow encourages people to come here to the metro and squat. . . and eventually, magiging baboy ang maraming area ng metro

a lot of politicians really just want to smell good to a lot of people when in fact, they leave a stinking garbage behind even long after they're gone from public office

kaya matapang ang mga jologs na yan coz they know how to use the rich vs. poor drama to their advantage

they know the media will portray them as the good guys and the rich as the bad guys

the media loves covering rich vs. poor stories

ABS gave the mother a lot of airtime

to tell everyone the guy is a hero

    amazing

now every jologs out there will be even bolder

they will justify their illegal activities using the mahirap-lang-ako excuse

just coz they're poor, they can justify stealing, robbing, killing people?

society is going to the dogs

news reporting for conveying information is dead in this country. . .
the tv media, the most popular news medium, reports stories that invoke emotion among its target audience (the masses--those who have the most time to watch tv). .

then they will make a survey a week after which tv program the people watched the previous week. .

teka, someone care to change the thread title?

On taxes, jologs, etc....in the hearts and minds of the masses populist government can solve and address such issues with little or even without contradiction (not in philippines though) but when it's popularity diminishes...then

let's wait for the time the masses to arm themselves and it will be time for us to run or to switch sides..... who are you with? the rich and middle class against the armed masses.

Then justifying stealing, killing and robbing would be easy for them.

the great survivalist are not those who are strong but those who can adopt easily with the environment and situations.
