ganito. trough is made from a 12 inch (or any size) steel pipe positioned with slight incline. there will be a screw conveyor along the trough. on one end will be a feed chute/funnel and on the other end will be where the finished, cooked products come out. continuos ang process, raw product in on one end, finished product out from other end. the screw turns at a rate that allows the product to be cooked at just the right length of time. the turning motion of the screw also mixes the product while cooking. this trough will be placed on top of a brick furnace. this is also slightly inclined so that heat enters one end and flue gas exits the other end. the furnace of course is as long as the trough. you can even put a rice husk burner as the heat supply. cheap source of energy.
if you know how limestone is processed into cement you'll know how this looks like. only thing is that a cement kiln uses conveyor belt.
gets mo? di ako marunong drawing dito e, sana kuha mo picture ng suggestion ko. problem lang nito e yung rate ng turning ng screw, how to control. i suppose trial and error with different size sprockets. yung screw conveyor madali pa-fabricate nun, shaft and steel plate lang yun e.
