mga pulverized rock/bato na ginagamit sa feeds at mga feedmills, kailangan may specific mineral content at moisture contect na nakukuha sa pag sunog/heat/calcinate, kaya pag sobrang init dirin maganda, pag hindi maluto maayos i reject din.

per ton ang luto para by batches, madali sa quality control.

sir suggestion lang. kung magpa-fabricate ka din lang, why not fabricate a trough with a screw gear?

ganito. trough is made from a 12 inch (or any size) steel pipe positioned with slight incline. there will be a screw conveyor along the trough. on one end will be a feed chute/funnel and on the other end will be where the finished, cooked products come out. continuos ang process, raw product in on one end, finished product out from other end. the screw turns at a rate that allows the product to be cooked at just the right length of time. the turning motion of the screw also mixes the product while cooking. this trough will be placed on top of a brick furnace. this is also slightly inclined so that heat enters one end and flue gas exits the other end. the furnace of course is as long as the trough. you can even put a rice husk burner as the heat supply. cheap source of energy.

if you know how limestone is processed into cement you'll know how this looks like. only thing is that a cement kiln uses conveyor belt.

kung napapasyal ka ng Quiapo (lapit sa SM Quiapo)..may mga nagluluto ng Kastanyas doon ..tuloy tuloy ang pag halo dahil driven sia ng motor using bevel and pinion gear type di pwede belt type kasi may apoy sa ilalim ..baka malusaw ang belt dahil sa init madali ma-worn out,,..pa tsek nyo na lang ang gear ratio regarding sa speed ng pag halo ...baka masyado mabilis.. tumapon lang ang hinahalo...peace

i can picture your idea, its the ancient design of a water pump, yung screw turns to bring the water up, but in our case, kailangan pa lusuton sa other side. The idea is feasible,

the 12 inch steel pipe, doesnt have to be a 12 inch steel pipe. hehe makapal yun thinkness the steel pipe to support a 12 inch diameter, siguro ilang mm din yun, mahirap umiit yun. pero pwede naman ata yung ibang lightweight materials, supported by beams and overhangs, i have to find a lightweight, strong, at widely available, na pwede i heat without adverse efects hehehe hirap no.

and the screw, probably its gonna be fabricated out of metals and has to be more or less exact as to push the materials totally, pag may clearances, baka masusunog lang ang materials dun without getting moved.

about yung rice husk burner? any info on these.

Btw about sa Turning rate ng sprocket, may mga nabibili na regulators para sa kasamang motors nila, used for industrial applications like dryers etc etc

yung rice hull burner i believe there will be a design available at the dept of mechanical engineering, college of engineering UP diliman , or at the UNDP office (don't know where but most probably at the UN office in manila.) project kasi yan ng isang classmate namin nuon (1985 summer class), he designed a completely feasible rice hull burner during our special projects course. the projects were funded by the UNDP (yup, student pa lang kami tinuturuan na nila kami maging corrupt! dami namin kupit, puro overestimate para laki budget ehehe!)) since these were UNDP funded those designs are not patented, they're suppose to be for use in the countryside.

first hand info (i witnessed it from fabrication to final testing), the burner developed temperatures enough to heat the metal plates red hot (and that was why he had to redesign it with refractory materials later). very efficient - very minimal ash was produced and almost no smoke.

for the steel pipe, meron thin walled pipes. yung gamit na liner sa deep well thin walled pipe yun. why not call those companies in the yellow pages that drill deep wells where they get the liners.

yung initial idea ko is to elevate and embed the whole trough in a earth/brick kiln, to trap and dry the material by heating and by hot air, since the upper portion of the trough doesnt have a cover, to maximize drying and para na din for vapor escape.

the brick kiln will also be for trapping vapors for vapor/gas filtration, at least hindi na mahirap mag improvise ng way to meet requirements pag nangdyan na ang kotong


so yung furnace kill will be under the troubh, for feeding and maintenance narin as well yung cold air/oxygen will be blown on it by a blower to force feed it.

so far ang pinakamalaki kong nakita is mga 4 to 6 feet in diameter lang... pero hindi ito pasadya ha, meron na deretcho nabibili nito, kasya na ba 1 ton? baka pagbato kasya na hehe.. pero hindi siya kasing lalim ng kaldero eh...
