    RE: Extinguishers:

No problem on the family member's knowledge of use. It's just that by the time they spotted the fire, the extinguishers they had just didn't have the juice, and the one that did was too heavy for the people on the scene at the time. I'm thinking of getting the big ones with wheels, as they're more handy than the wall-mounted 25 pounders.

But yeah, it might be time for a few drills...

Yup, Insurance is a good idea. Make sure lang you are insured with reliable insurance company. Specially if you are always out. But if you are out and your young ones is in you will need to have a fire extinguishers than to be sorry.

This is definitely the safest to do it.

i think the best way is to have a fire emergency plan and practice it w/ ur family,,list down kung ano2x ang mga dapat unahin isave (syempre 1st parin ang safety ng bawat isa s pamilya)..

o kaya mag-member k s mga fire volunteer group para if in case isang tawag mo lng s may groupo mo may aasahan k n n mag-poprotect s property mo

Yup, have one in the kitchen, one in the car (beside the first aid kit, in case of emergencies).

Thanks Niky. I hope pipz can really find out about it and insist that they reinstall one whenever they have a fan fixed.

BTW, yung sa Condos medyo madalang nga and I think the reason is the existence of sprinklers. Parang mas effective pa yata yun sa alarm/extinguisher combo eh -- as long as they're working right.

What if mangyari daw sa pinas.

So as always be proactive sa ganito bagay. ZONING ang kailangan sa metro manila. No more high rise. Isang disaster lang earthquake eh domino yan. Tapos pag may disaster eh magpapaawa tapos magpapacharity marathon ang channel 2 and 7 libre kausap sa paboritong artista. Mapagod na tayo sa buhay showbiz.

So makati be people ilan taon na kayo ginagagoh ni binay. Dati nagkaroon ng alternative kaso my gawd edu manzano. Wala ba residente may kakayahan jan.
