    Its a weekday around 7 am, starting at Katipunan (Blue Ridge), which route do you suggest for shortest travel time to NAIA Terminal 1?

    1. Boni Serrano -> EDSA -> Tramo -> NAIA1.

    2. C5 -> Kalayaan -> EDSA -> Tramo -> NAIA1

    3. C5 -> Upper Mc Kinley -> Lawton -> Andrews -> NAIA1

    4. Suggest other route.

    Matrapik usually ang oras na ito.

    Thanks.

    what's the 7am? your flight sched or the time you want to leave katipunan?

    anyway, based on my daily bout with the horrible traffic, i suggest you take c5 all the way to the service road, take a right on the service road, then go straight up to sales road (yata yun) then take left going to resorts world and terminal 3, domestic terminal and then terminal 1. suggestion lang: you have to leave very early. if your target arrival at the airport is 7am, you can still get there if you leave by 530-545am. bakit? that traffic in front of citibank libis never improves, bottleneck going up the bridge in bagong ilog, and that rotunda in front of terminal 3 gets really really bad due to dilapidated roads, jeepneys and tricycles (yes, meron trike at ang dami kadalasan).

    Route 3 is the best.

    BUT, be sure na hindi ka aabutin ng lagpas 8 am while passing by Resorts World and Andrews, sobrang traffic na dun going to Baclaran.

    Weekday at 7am from Katipunan - Blue Ridge.

    First: leave at 6:30 instead if you want to be at the airport by 8.

    I'd take White Plains - EDSA - Santolan (u-turn) - Tramo or Boni Serrano - EDSA - Tramo. At that time, usually after Buendia wala nang traffic.

    I'd pick route 3 as well.

    At 6:30 wala pa. But pag 7am, medyo meron na sa may Shaw underpass, Boni, Guadalupe and Buendia. Bearable naman most of the time. After Buendia, mabilis na yan all the way to Pasay (unless may ginawang kagaguhan ang mga bus).

    Thanks to all.

    I'm inclined to take vinj's route, a variant of route 1 (take white plains, wala yata taffic lights na ma-encounter all the way to tramo).

    Leave earlier as well.

    I forgot to mention. The traffic is worse on a Monday to Wednesday (leave 630 am if via EDSA); On Thursday and Friday, it's usually a little lighter (leave quarter to 7).

    Some notes on Santolan Road:

    - When you turn on Santolan (from Katipunan) keep to the left lane as jeeps put passengers down near that Christian School. After passing the stopped jeeps, move to the right lane and go back to the left lane after the 15th Ave. stoplight and before the Aguinaldo public school as that's another jeep drop-off point (ingat sa crossing students as they don't heed to the traffic lights).
    - May traffic din sa Santolan - EDSA intersection; you can be an *sshole and counterflow with the GTEx vans (yan yung mga minumura ko every single day) or take the rightmost lane (this moves faster then the left lane as you approach EDSA). The left turn to EDSA from Santolan/Aguinaldo goes red before the straight does so kung naabutan ka ng red ng pa-left and you're on the right lane (straight), just pull aside at the gas station.

    I'm planning to take White Plains to People Power Monument, EDSA Northbound, U-turn at Santolan (underpass), EDSA Southbound to Tramo ... walang stoplight yan ata ... (there is one at white plains/temple corner, but i'm turning tight towards the monument)

    ooops ... meron stoplight sa boni serrano/katipunan crossing ... before reaching white plains

    Hehehe... meron nga. Pag U-turn mo sa EDSA - B. Serrano/Santolan, mas mabilis ang outer lane (Aguinaldo side ng flyover) kaso sa center lane.
