    Good day mga sir,
    Paano ba mabubuksan o maisasara yung mga bintana na matigas/mahirap galawin? Ano yung oil na pinapatak? May 2 bintana dito sa bahay na hindi maisara at mahirap buksan.

    kung swing type, kahit anong langis oks diyan. lagyan mo yung mga hinges na kinalawang tapos dahan dahan mong yugyugin.
    alalay sa paguga pag kinain ng kalawang yung hinges, puwede maputol yan.

    Usually the reason why the windows will not open is busted rollers or similar. It is really a case to case repair thing. You'll need to remove the window from the frame and check why it is hard to open/slide and try to find a fix for it. Just oiling it may not even to anything for it.

    As for the oil, what we usually use on gate and window hinges is yung used motor oil. Tumatagal siya compared to multi purpose oil. And its free. Mas maganda kung fully synthetic pa makuha mo hehe

    same, pero ako yung gear oil ng 2stroke scoot ko nagtatabi talaga ako for hinges and rusted thingys.
    just squirt some on the rusted area and let the oil to seep in and tadaaaaah!

    Sir babaran mo muna ng oil at wag pilitin sa isang direction, pag meron resistance yugyugin mo lang sabay lagay ng oil para ung kalawang e sumama sa oil palayo sa hinges

    Salamat sa reply mga sir at ma'am. Siguro may gamit yung sobrang oil mula sa 5k PMS ko. May kalawang ako na nakikita. Ngayon, 10 bintana na ang mahirap buksan or ayaw mabuksan. Pwede ba masira yung hinge sa mga ganitong scenario? Mahal ba palitan yung mg ganyan? Ito pala current condition ng mga bintana na sinasabi ko:

    Yung wd40 mabilis matuyo. Pwede masira yung hinge depending on how bad yung rust. Suggestion ko is ibabad mo muna sa oil for a couple of days. Then try to open the window. Kung ayaw parin, add oil again.

    ganyan din window namin. sakit niya yan pag tagulan or kahit hindi basta may moisture. as suggested babaran mo muna ng oil.
    huwag mong pilitin yan dahil yung pinagkakapitan sa bilog (na parang rivet) to the window. yun ang mapuputol pag pinilit. yan ang sinisira ng mga kenkoy na longkats ko. pinipilit kasi buksan kaya napuputol. mahirap iwelding yan lalo na kung mataas yung bintana niyo tulad namin. kaya pa ng langis yan. mas worse pa nga yung samin.

    there are 2000 uses daw ng wd-40....

    O.T. LANG meron bang wd 40 na fake?

    meron kasi ako nakukuhaan napa mura.... yung 3oz sa handyman worth 150 pesos.. sakanila 75 lang....

    nasubukan ko na mukhang ok naman.... meron din silang 6fl oz nasa 85pesos lang.... yung 15oz.... nasa 150 lang....

    yep meron. may nagbebenta sa amin niyan dati. galing China. so be careful.

    WD-40 isn't actually a true lubricant. WD stands for "water displacing" and its main use is as a solvent or rust dissolver.

    The lubricant-like properties of WD-40 come not from the substance itself, but from dissolving components. And the effect doesn't last.

    WD-40 can be a good substance to start with — it can help clean up rust or other grime. But depending on what you're working with, you should probably follow up WD-40 with use of a true lubricant such as one based on silicone, grease, Teflon, or graphite.

    When Should I Not Use WD-40?

    ^ oks din nga daw yan alternative sa ky jelly.

    nakabili ako niyan nasa bilao sa bangketa ng echague years ago maliit nasa 50php. oks naman kahit siguro peke. 50 lang eh.
    huwag ka lang bibili nung shampoo, conditioner at toothpaste nila.

    Depende sa bintana mo, kung kahoy ay lagyan mo ng candle wax yung dinaraanan ng rails.....
    .kung bakal naman ay gamitin mo ang W40 sa mga joints & rails

    Nothing beats brake fluid when it comes to rust. Patakan mo lang at hayaan mo mag sink in ng isang araw or more. Ingatan mo lang mapatakan kotse mo or any painted objects dahil sisirain nito ang pintura.

    Brake fluid muna para mas mabilis matanggal pagka-stuck. Then as CB mentioned, used oil na lang gamitin mo.

    Salamat sa mga reply mga sir.

    Yung 2 bintana pa lang nagagawa ko. Naubusan kasi ako ng oil. Pupunta pa ako sa suking hardware store para sa wd40. Brake fluid siguro ilalagay ko sa mga may visible at malala na rust.

    Grabe. Nadagdagan yung mga stuck na bintana. Hayy
