i dont give them anything.
a little tap on the window din.
dont give them fish but teach them how to fish
Don't give them anything but give to charities that caters to this children. These children don't have any business loitering in the streets, period. This statement coming from a guy who has actual experience hitting a boy at 60kph when he ran at full speed across edsa at a green light like there's no tomorrow. He survived unscathed with just minor bruises luckily.
each time you give something to street beggars, you are actually encouraging them to go out on the road to beg, putting their lives, as well as you and your family, and fellow motorists and their families, at risk
And you never know where the money goes -- gambling? yosi? rugby? So you are in fact reinforcing their habit by giving them money
If you want to help, please course it through the proper channels/orgs B).
Nope, never had, never will... Not that im insensitive, but the young ones can always go to stay with charity homes, the older ones should've stayed in their provinces, the younger ones can always get a job... kahit janitor, takatak boys, kargador trabaho padin yan - no skills necessary.
Walang gamot sa katamaran.
pag me coins ako sa car, i give them to beggars. pero i rather buy like sampaguita, basahan, newspaper from these less fortunate kids kasi i admire yung ginagawa nila na pagtitinda instead of pamamalimos.
depende rin eh... if i have extra food in my car.... not leftovers though, I give it to them rather than having it spoiled. I dont give money... specially for those able bodied peeps who are able to work!
thats againts the law and is aptly called vagrancy.
"E MAS MALAKI PA KATAWAN NYO SAKIN EH.... MAMAMALIMOS KAYO???"
It's the DSWD's job to get needy off the streets and educate them.
i especially hate those beggars who use babies as props to get away with their vagrancy. meron din may nag aassist pa kuno sa mga bulag.
if i were them, i'd stay in the provinces and till the land. plant kamote. rich in iron, carbohydrates and fiber.![]()
