Don't give them anything but give to charities that caters to this children. These children don't have any business loitering in the streets, period. This statement coming from a guy who has actual experience hitting a boy at 60kph when he ran at full speed across edsa at a green light like there's no tomorrow. He survived unscathed with just minor bruises luckily.

each time you give something to street beggars, you are actually encouraging them to go out on the road to beg, putting their lives, as well as you and your family, and fellow motorists and their families, at risk

And you never know where the money goes -- gambling? yosi? rugby? So you are in fact reinforcing their habit by giving them money

If you want to help, please course it through the proper channels/orgs B).

Nope, never had, never will... Not that im insensitive, but the young ones can always go to stay with charity homes, the older ones should've stayed in their provinces, the younger ones can always get a job... kahit janitor, takatak boys, kargador trabaho padin yan - no skills necessary.

    Walang gamot sa katamaran.
