Based on the video ..i think the guy was on the ovetaking lane....but naabutan sya ng convoy and he tried to escape from the convoy kaya sya lumabas to his right and overtake the convoy....maybe this evo guy doesnt know a simple road rules..always keep the overtaking lane open..dont stay sa overtaking lane...pag nakita mo behind you na may emergency like ambulance, or convoy..always give way.....lack of decipline and doesnt know proper road rules...nice stunt!

PNoy should have used the Osmena Hiway (ilalim ng SkyWay), there is a reason why people use skyway and pay for the service, and not to follow a convoy.

It is true that the SkyWay has a limit of 100kph for cars, have somebody confirmed the convoy was travelling 100km? From the video I can say it was less.

Kahit ako ang ang driver na maipit sa likod ng convoy, e iiwan ko yan.

Hindi acceptable sa akin ung reason na convoy ni PNoy ang asa harap, kung meron kang ka meeting na nag-aantay na ung ka meeting mo.

^ pero sa video parang nasa passing lane yung evo..as ive said hindi dapat nagbababad sa passing lane..we really dont know kung paano nagsimula .kung naabutan ba nung evo yung convoy and he tried overtaking them..

Sa tingin ko ang nagpalaki ng problema dito is yung pagka- arogante nung evo driver. If he explained his side in a calm manner and admitting that it was not intentional baka hindi na lumaki pa ng ganito yung issue. Pag masyado na kilala ang isang tao lumalaki na ang ulo parang yung palengkero na nagwala sa wack wack. He,he.

magpasalamat nalang siya at hindi trigger happy yung mga psg. he was evidently a threat. pwede siya niratrat ng walang kalaban-laban sa ginawa nyang yun, and the psg had every legal reason to if ever they did.

hehe, buti nga hindi trigger hapy PSG.

May speed limit talaga na 100kph, kaya maling mali ginawa nung driver. Reckless driving kaya ginawa na swerving at high-speed. And I agree na lumala kasi nga nag-name drop pa daw. But that's another story.

Yung name dropping puwede yun na may kaso din siguro na similar to resisting arrest. Resisting to pay fine siguro.

ang alam ko may presidential decree si marcos penalizing name dropping. kung hindi pa na-repeal yung PD na yun in effect pa yun so pwede siya kasuhan dun. yun lang nga papayag kaya si pnoy na gamitin ang isang PD ni makoy? palagay ko hindi.

After watching the vid, I guess may mali rin yung convoy ni Pnoy. Lahat sila na occupy na yung passing lane at yung middle lane. If they wanna keep the speed limit of 100kph they should took the middle and outer lane.

It's the presidential convoy. They need the extra lane for security.

Most likely, the Presidential vehicle is isolated on the left side, with security flanking on the right to prevent attack. They had to move left because there was merging traffic from the on-ramp on the right. If they had to filter through the traffic, other cars would have gotten in the convoy. So they would be avoiding the right lane.

So it's likely they were merging left, and this guy came blazing up very fast and got stuck in the middle of the convoy because he refused to slow down to get behind the final vehicle.

Instead of backing out, he then cut across and tried to power through. Which is why they blocked him again.

Still tried to overtake, so they finally boxed him in and stopped him.

Whatever the speed of an emergency vehicle or official vehicle with emergency lights, those lights are a signal not to interfere with the movement of that vehicle.

Ergo: if a police car has its lights on, even if it's going just 40 km/h, that doesn't mean you can overtake and then cut them off to make a right turn at the next stop, or to merge. You are impeding their movement. Same principle applies to a convoy of police vehicles.

Mas lalo pa kung military or police convoy. While you can be forgiven for doubting the typical three-car convoy with a luxury SUV, two red-plate AUVs and a motorcycle cop, it should be fricking obvious when there are over a dozen cars that this convoy was seryosong biznis. So back off.
