Wala lang...just sounding off. Gusto ko lang i-share yung mga experiences ko of riding the MRT four times a week.

There were a couple of times where I saw pregnant women having their seat "stolen". Know what? Kahit na alam ng lahat na for the abovementioned lang yung first coach, marami pa ring men-folk na nagpupumilit sumakay dun - yung iba nagtatago pa sa guard.

During rush hour, a lot of the men folk riding the MRT behave like animals. They push, claw, rake, shove and bully their way in. Kaninang umaga, I took the MRT. Wala naman akong "usual spot" na tinatayuan when I ride so I just went to the last door of the last coach. Swerte ako kasi nasa harap ako, pwedeng makakuha ng upuan. The train was late to arrive so marami ng tao. Paparating pa lang yung train, nag-tutulakan na. When the train arrived and the door opened, may utility na lalabas. He has with him a pail of dirty water. Hindi pa bukas fully yung pinto, the men-folk from the rear shoved us in front. The end result? My nice pair of cream-colored twill pants got wet - and it got dirty. Now, I have to wait for the mall to open so I can buy a pair of pants. ang nakakainis, nagalit na kaming na-tapunan ng water, tumawa lang yung iba. Tsk, tsk.

Nung minsan, si Kumander hinipuan. Galit na galit ako. Maraming menyek sa MRT. There was one time where this guy was peering inside the blouse of a well endowed lady. Malas nya, may kasama pala yung babae. In short, yung menyek might have had a broken nose from the punch the girl's companion gave him.

If you observe, karamihan ng mga walang modo at pag-galang sa kapwa commuters are the men-folk.

Like what they do when they go inside the train, they push their way outside. Most of the menfolk jostle and snake their way sa escalators, nagu-unahan makarating sa itaas. What I find funny is that a lot of the commuters, once up at the platform, race for the turnstiles. You'd think that they're late for something. Pero, pagka-exit, they just walk casually.

Marami din na low-lives sa MRT. Several months ago, may nasabat kami na snatcher sa North Avenue. By some miracle, maluwag sa NAS on a morning rush hour. Papasakay ako when a commotion started. May sumigaw "Mandurukot!" Within seconds, I saw a guy rushing out with something in his hand. Yung katabi ko na guy, was able to slow him down while I was able to kick him. This was enough to slow him down. Ang malas nya, yung dinukutan nya was a huge guy - with huge fist. In short, he got pounded twice before the guards came.

So, would I still ride the MRT? The answer: yes. Despite the uncivilized and sometimes animalistic behavior of many riders, the MRT is still the fastest means of transport from SM North to Baclaran.

As in G R A B E ! Would you believe na nakapasok ako sa loob ng LRT ng hindi sumasayad yung dalawang paa ko. Para akong lumulutang. Hehehe.
