Problem though is the tip should be the customers' decision and not compulsary. Unless we have a tip law already.

I give tips but I shouldnt be forced.

+1 I don't think it's common practice to tip cashiers as well.

OT I got to visit SM Southmall after more than 15 yrs and I find food street very nice. It looks more premiere than SM Aura pa.

*Retz: Plastic free na sa QC pero sa small groceries, meron silang tinatawag na plastic labo. Pwede daw un. Pero yang mga big malls, no choice, either bring your own or buy from them.

*beni23: Yes, ang PureGold walang paper bag na inooffer, plastic lang or eco bag. At least ang Shopwise meron. Dati paper bag sila pero ngayon plastic labo na din.

Is it true the mall smells like one giant Pepper Lunch?

I was at Aura yesterday with a couple of clients (retail tenants). So far their main complaint is 1) Business is very slow and 2) the Mall smells like Pepper Lunch!!!

That is when I started taking notice, the Mall indeed smelled like Pepper Lunch as the steam is difficult to contain since Pepper Lunch is in the open food court. They said the smell even enters the boutiques and sticks to the clothes on display.
