most of the time with great certainty, the typhoons, storms or weather disturbance blows from the east westerly. the trajectory has always been northwest. this website is updated by the u.s. navy for the region east of the philippines:

it includes satellite pictures, satellite cloud movement clips in infrared or vapor loop. you can even look at any area in the region using longitude and latitude
