    1. Pleasing Personality
    2. Between 18-25 years of age
    3. Photo in Bio-Data
    4. Must be Female/Male

Of course this wouldnt happen over-night. but its a good start for a change, for the benefit the whole country.

Sabi ko sa sarili ko, kapag ako naka chamba dito sa US, magtatayo ako ng negosyo where there will be no discrimination or whatsoever. Bata, matanda, panget, maganda, bakla, babae, pandak, matangkad, lahat pantay pantay. Also, maganda din ang negosyo sa penitentiary na nag bebenefit ang mga convicts or ex-convicts.

Sa ngayon eh wala akong maitutulong, pero kapag naka chamba ako, tiyak chamba sambayanan.

Karding po, sa susunod na halalan!

    5. Height Requirement. Female must be at least 5'4" tall, Male must be at least 5'7". (Iyan ang required ng Chow King.)

    6. Must be single.
(Believe it or not, this is common. Check out some newspaper ads out there)

i was on my way home last night when naisip ko ito:

*** as i mentioned in a previous thread, dapat taasan ang passing grade sa entrance exam sa college of education, and taasan din ang passing grade sa licensure exam. para naman makapag-produce ng magagandang teachers. to the parents out there, would you want a teacher na magtuturo ng maling diction and sentence construction sa inyong mga anak?

**** dapat tanggalin sa puwesto ang mga nag-author ng mga pumasang batas na pumalpak. kasi, it could be that kulang sa planning, proper implementation, etc. malay natin, baka gumagawa lang sila ng batas for funding. at least, this way, talagang may nagmomonitor. pati mga enforcers, on their feet kasi kapag pumalpak, pati sila, tanggal sa trabaho. pero hindi naman masyadong mahigpit ang rule na ito. kung talagang hindi naman effective or not feasible at that time yung law, i-ammend or i-revise agad, and hindi yung basta na lang biglang makakalimutan ang batas.

***** dapat bitayin ang mga lawmakers found guilty of violating the laws they themselves author. no need to explain.

White, black, asian, young, old, male, female, gay, tall, short, fat, skinny, ugly, and goodlooking. Even disabled people are given a chance to work (as long as their disability does not interfere with their work). I even saw some employees with Down syndrome working at Walmart.

Napaka-backwards talaga dito sa pinas. Minsan ang help wanted ads dito reads like personal ads.

    Wanted:
    Female
    Must be Single
    Must be 5'7"
Must weight no more than 110 pounds.
    Must be good looking
Attach photo, full body shot and close face shot
Dark skin tone need not apply

maraming napapansin si madame jellybeans. he he he

napansin nya tuloy yung undeground economy.

NEDA always fails to account the money these vendors make out of selling anything they can carry with their two arms.

but i do agree that these vendors should not impede traffic and contribute to trash in the streets.

    no flames pls. but......

have you checked yourselves if you were following the rules or "batas" that are in place?

IMHO, there is no point in asking for more rules if we ourselves can't follow them, right?

    my .02 cents

    Ouch... [kidspeak]owned!]/kidspeak]

I, for one, admit to breaking the letter of the law on many an occassion. The discourtesy and wanton misuse of roads by other drivers may seem a poor excuse for such behavior, but I admit, it's the reason I give myself.

85% of the time, I follow the law. I give way to the other driver. The other 15% of the time is spent in red haze, horn blowing, overtaking turtles on the wrong side of the road, and swerving to avoid swervers. I hate metro driving.

I'd prefer it if road users were more courteous, but law-abiding? Ha! That'll be the day.

No plate no run should be implemented first! That includes pedicabs and illegal tricycle operators. They would scratch your paintwork and blame you that it was your own fault, when they shouldn't have been there in the first place!

And PUVs should stick to yellow lanes only, why would they apprehend these erring PU drivers first?

hmmm..too many ifs, hopes, whys, hows..etc...

IMHO, ganyan na talaga ang unique nating cultures & mindsets..kung mabura man 'yan pati papel mapupunit na rin..i'm not saying hopeless na ang pilipinas..the change must come from within..sa loob ng pamilya..sa leaders natin..history taught us of countless civilizations & races doing the worse crime ever committed on mankind just to make sure it holds on & maintain its sure grasp towards its own culture & survival..

modern day example na lang si hitler.. he had to exterminate so many millions of jews on the premise that jews, in & out, are eyesores to german culture & its people..

but we are filipinos..and that is our big problem..nagkadamayan na dahil sa subrang maling pamamalakad ng batas natin..

and the irony is..it has come to the point that following the rules generates more problems than violating it.. sa totoo lang baligtad na ang dating sa mga new generation natin, eh..

but it's not too late..those people we voted to lead us should live by example in their day to day routines..only then magbubunga ng maganda 'yan sa paningin ng mga maliliit at dukhang mga pinoy at ganon narin sa mga taong labas na matagal ng umaasim ang mukha sa estilo ng pamamalakad ng bansa natin..period..

    ang dalawang sentimos kong opinyon..

see, this is the kind of attitude we should not have.....its like saying wala ng pag asa.

trying coming to the US or in any other country and try breaking their vehicle laws, I am pretty sure you will learn how to abide by it.

I for one drove like hell before in Manila but when I arrived here. Natuto akong sumunod. I am positive that I can still do this even when I come back to Manila.

Ah... sorry if my negativity disturbs you.

I know what you mean in the US. I love it there, drivers are, for the most part SANE... I don't fear for my life there like in the Philippines or in Taiwan. I obeyed the laws there because I could see and feel the effects of the laws.

The problem with the Philippines is that there is no incentive to follow the law. All my friends from the US come here and drive like gentlepersons for the first few months... then they become like everyone else after being abused/hit/cut-off/nearly-killed a couple of times... it's saddening.

It's nice to drive through the posh villages and the technoparks. Laws are clearly stated and defined. Road rules are spelt out at each gate and signs remind you at each corner. Minor infractions merit you a warning instead of a haggling session. There is no need to break road rules there, as driving is so easy in such an environment.

The problem is, on national roads, we have laws that are mere technicalities for traffic enforcers to catch you by, but no laws regarding the quality of driving... or the intelligence level necessary to drive a motor vehicle.

The moment law enforcement becomes effective, I won't care if I get a ticket... (and I've gotten lots of bad ones, and only one or two tickets that I've actually deserved) because I'll know the system is working.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

I came from the US. I've been driving here in Manila for a while now and even though I'm much more aggressive here, I never reach the level of aggressiveness as most locals. There's a couple of things that I simply refuse to do such as using the MIDDLE lane as your turning lane kasi ayaw nilang magantay sa likod. This blocks traffic behind him... all that driver thinks about is himself. Another annoying thing is to turn a 2-way 2 lane (2 lane going one way, two lane going the opposite way) into a 3 lane on one way lane. Drivers are willing to invade that unused lane and meet oncoming traffic. Tingnan mo yung Shaw Blvd.
