Sadly, I came from a family that neither invested nor ran businesses, so I still have so much to learn on making the most of my money. So now, I'm sticking to being an employee to learn as much as I can, while saving up for investments.

Most of my family have been in the corporate side and I can say that one can still pretty much earn well if you plan your career right and make the right investments on the side. Timing matters a lot and if you have a good reputation, you'll find yourself sitting on the boards of companies even. If you build up your asset base, that can really help you later on.
