    Lagi na lang bukang-bibig ng taong-bayan ang "tong"saan ba nagsimula ito?
    Di kaya sa tunog ng lata kapag maglalagay ng coins?

    Parang sa mah jong yata galing. Wherein the winner of every game gives a portion or percentage, parang "for the boys" or for the upkeep of the place, free food,drinks etc.

    According to one government official, " tong " was derived from the Tong Gangs of Hong Kong who, several years ago extorted money from Hong Kong residents and businesses.
