Problem with S&R is if you go on a buying binge... bye-bye PPP. I agree with Shadow that their meats are okay at S&R; well-priced too.

imported spirits are also cheaper there
OT: mga twice or thrice ko ata nakasabay mag grocery dyan sa S&R BGC si Imelda, grabe turo lang ng turo sabay may taga kuha and taga lagay ng items sa cart, iba pa yun taga tulak ng cart

Masarap ang gulay sa S&R. First grocery namin ni missis don 100% over budget agad and 50 pesos binayaran namin sa parking :hysterical: Paconsuelo daw malalaki ang containers kaya isang buwan nang gamitan

We're still getting a feel of things pero so far satisfied kami. Our usual haunt was Landmark. Babalik na lang kami don for tingi items.

Not the usual crowd I agree. Although minsan may mga import ng modeling school na namimili sa Landmark.

maiba naman tayo.... sa KCC gensan, grabe ang supermarket nila dun. I think this is one of the most crowded supermarket. wholesale ang bentahan. sa airport pa lang naka KCC shirt na mga porter dun.

Speaking of, S&R BGC is a hassle to go to. Long line at the parking and it's crowded inside, most especially on a weekend. I prefer going to the one in San Fernando Pampanga... minsan dun kami nag SC ni Doc Otep para bumili ng wine and chips. Syempre dadaan kami sa tyre section to get a good dose of new tire smell :D

We still buy most of our stuff from the grocery and there are just a few items we regularly get at S&R. Seems to be a good balance.
