    ER mean Elizabeth Regina.

    Regina, is from regnant, which means she is a reigning queen.

    This is different from a non-reigning queen (the wife of a King). For a Queen that is only queen by virtue of being married to a King, she would not put the R after her name. Queen Elizabeth's mother, who was also named Queen Elizabeth, did NOT put R after her name because she was not the reigning queen, rather she was a "queen consort".

    i assume its the initials of the queen kasi may E at II. maybe yung R is her last name?

    Curious lang ako. Ano ba papel ng Royal family? Are they going to lead the British pag nagkaroon ng WW3?

    Monarchy remains important for the British people as a symbol of their country. Unlike in France, they threw the monarch and beheaded the king.
