And how heavy a car would you be driving? A four tonne level-5 armored car?

The only reason why we are late in such things is the cost of putting up such things do cost money. There was an automated car park beside SM Megamall (near St.Francis) before but I think it didn't make money or something.

inalis na ata nila yun, last time dumaan ako dun(from padium to st. francis to mega mall) di ko na nakita yun. parang puro karinderya na yun lugar ng automated parking.

    Hehe, dami talagang kontra-bida dito

Naging open carpark na ng Podium yung dating may automated parking system. Sa Discovery Suites meron pang ganyan, pero never kong nakitang ginamit.

As if the rest of the world had robotic carparks on every corner.

Robotic carparks have only really started to come out in major cities outside Japan in the last two years. Not everyone is as robot-crazy as the Japanese. I imagine that there are quite a few cities richer than Manila that don't have one of these, yet.

Pretty gutsy move, opening one here... due to the cost... but with spiralling cost of parking in that area (Ortigas ba?), I don't doubt that they will get lots of customers.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...
