No solid source... and then there's the "personal" information?

While it's not hard to believe some of these reporters are on somebody's payroll, this reads like one of those ultra-detailed semi-truthful/semi-fictitious "flame letters" we often get in the institution against certain officials/employees.

But without evidence or anyone coming forward with solid evidence (seriously, kung every month ang payola... where's the photos?... andaling mag-"sting" diyan kung may access ka sa media!), this amounts to nothing more than massive mudslinging.

RE: the small size of the payola... it's actually quite significant.

If I had a crappy reporter's salary and got an extra, untaxable 15 - 35k a month, I'd sure as hell be happy. Heck, some schools have tried to give my Mom "bribes" in her function with the CHED before and then with PACUCOA (school accrediting body) as an accreditor. Fruit baskets and fish, that's no problem... but once schools give envelopes full of cash, that's another story.

Some people don't have a problem accepting these envelopes and keeping quiet about them... if you're an inspector or reporter on a crappy salary, it's understandable... but for someone who actually makes a sizeable amount of money every month, a mere 5k in payola is kinda insulting. Understandably, Mom and a couple of others always returned the envelopes... (many of her co-accreditors are also Chancellor/VP level)

C'mon, 50k would be more appropriate...

meron sila pa din gagawin, papabanguhin nila ang pangalan ng nagbibigay ng monthly hulog

ngaun kung medyo hindi nila gusto pinaggawa ng nagbibigay sa kanila, kakainin nila ang pride nila.

for 20k, hawag na sila sa leeg. that's no different from being a slave or a puppet.

ang tanong eh hanggang kelan nila matitiis yan.
