we used to play sumpit using sago and straw that can be bought outside the school. My classmates and I always do this while waiting for the school service. There was this time that I ran out of ammo (sago). What I did was to run and make funny faces. This classmate of mine laughed so hard that the ammo(sago) flushed out through his nostrils....

Ah yes! Sipa. We used to put foam inside brand-new rubber shoes!

Sumpit in the mid-70s was a hard red plastic tube bought in stores, pang sumpit talaga. We would tie an empty Guitar matchbox at the end of it with rubber bands where the "bala" would be stored; seed pellets from a wild shrub growing anywhere..then the battle begins!

Ayos itong nutri bun. Taga deliver kami niyan nuong nasa elementary public school pa ako. Plastic ang lalagyan nito na 24(?) na nutri buns ang laman... Tapos, iyan na ang pagkain sa recess. Ang palaman namin ay kropek o dili kaya ice cream na tinda sa eskwela.... Ang panulak? Tubig na diretsong iniinom sa gripo....
