Bale naka rehistro ang kotse sa Manila. Since 2012 na. Nagpunta ako sa LTO Imus, para i-pa renew. Pero hindi ako pinayagan dahil 2013 pa daw paso ung rehistro. Regarding sa sticker advise nang LTO puntahan ko daw sa Manila. Tama po ba un?

    1. Ihanda xerox ng latest OR at CR. Punta ka Emission Testing Center near LTO. Pay around P400 for a car, get Emission Certificate and receipt.

    2. Get TPL insurance from any agent near LTO. Pay around P800. You will keep insurance papers. A TPL Certficate will be attached to your Emission Cert, together with OR/CR.

    3. At LTO, submit your xerox OR & CR, Emission Cert. and TPL Cert. An officer will fill the LTO form and an assistant will do the stencil on your car. Don't forget pang-meryenda for the assistant.

    4. Submit the forms at designated window at the LTO. You will be told to wait at the Cashier's area. It could take an hour or so.

    5. When name of car owner is called, pay the cashier. My 7-yr old sedan costed P3830. You now have a new OR together with your papers.

    6. Submit all at the Releasing window. In less than a minute, you will get back your new OR and new stickers. Done!

Yup ... you have to get the 2012 sticker from where it was first registered. You only need to pay for the sticker with a receipt. After this, you may renew at your nearest LTO next year.

Anong date sa CR at OR?
    Kung 2009, that means 2012 mo pa-renew.

tama lang yung sabi sa kanya, malamang nung nabili yung sasakyan nagrequest sila ng specific last digit ng plate number na lampas na sa equivalent registration month kaya lampas ng 3 years ang registration. kuha lang siya ng sticker sa LTO for 2012 then ok na. ganyan din yung sasakyan namin ngayon yung sticker ko is until 2013 but registered until 2014.
