kaya mga aso ko dito pinagtatatahi ko nalang mga puw3t at ginawa kong mga bag.

I saw a huge rat in the bathroom last night! My ex told me, for every one rat you see, there's actually 3. So it's true! It's huge! I don't know what the heck is it with the bathroom, why they like to enter or exit there And why are the rats so huge. Several years ago it was a few inches lang, but the last 2 rats we caught are huge.

They have a burrow in our backyard. It's near our Langka tree, I am not sure if we should hire an exterminator because they might inject poison in the soil and I don't want our Langka tree to die or for other trees in the backyard to get affected.

may habit ako til now na pag napansin kong bukas yung takip ng dogfood, sinisipa ko muna. either mouse o rat yung lumalabas.

Sa bintana. Sirang sira na nga yung screen, puro tagpi na nga so now we need to have it replaced. Ipapalagay namin yung parang may diamond na design na matigas. Pero yung nakita ko kagabi hindi namin alam saan dumaan dahil wala naman bagong butas yung screen sa bathroom. Weird naman kung ka batch niya yung rats from last month?

BTW, hindi ba nagkakasakit yung dog mo kung may pumapasok na daga sa food nila? What I have for my fat lab is a big Orocan drum with cover that can be locked. Para sure na walang insect makapasok.

May shrew pala sa Pilipinas hehe

pag may wiwi na ng daga dog food, dispose na. orocan din dati yung sakin, sako sako mga dog food, pag binagsak ko nababasag yung orocan tapos yung takip ginagawang "shield" ng mga pamangkin ko.

pinalitan ko ng industrial drum yung makapal na dati atang lalagyanan ng chemical. mag 10 years nato. hindi nasisira, yung cover niya makapal na parang rubber din. kaya lang, nawala kaya cover ko ngayon hindi sakto.

ito binili namin sa locko-locko sa lucky china town.

Does your house have (a) screen door/s?

Which direction does it open? Towards the outside or going inside? If its going inside, a rat can easily slip thru. Or if it opens to the outside but is not closing properly, a rat can open it (intelligent they are), and go inside as well.

Always lock those screen doors.

Rats can dive and swim, so it may be possible that they found a way into your house thru the toilet bowl. But I doubt that.

^Kitchen screen door opens outward. We don't lock it because that's where everyone passes. Rats can't slip through that door because my fat lab is always there.

We caught rat no 3. It did not take the bait for several days! I had to figure out its path to know where I should position the trap. Meat with bagoong attracts rats.

The reason why the rat nos 3 did not take the bait for few days bcoz of the rat smell in a cage. malakas ang pang amoy nila na nakahuli ka na ng 2 rats earlier with the same rat cage. yan rat nos 3 ay talaga lang siguro sugapa sa food kaya sya na trapped. If you don't mind my saying to clean thoroughly the rat cage after you "RIP" that rat. sabonin, i-clorox, ibilad sa araw ng few days ang rat cage para walang after smell ng rat na amoy. Goodluck sa mahuhuli mong rat nos 4. Hehe

^ yup another way to get rid of rat smell is baking soda mixed with vinegar.proper instruction can be found in youtube or in the net. naalala ko tuloy yung dating house namin na mariming kami nahuhuling rats. ang ginagawa namin magkakapatid sa rat ay "killing me softly." inilulubog namin ang cage kasama ang rat sa pale na punong ng tubig then lubog ang cage for 5 sec tapos breath lang ang peste ng 2 sec tapos lubog ulit ang cage ng 10...15...20 sec. etc... until matikog ang peste sa huling hininga nya. tawa kami ng tawa ng utol ko nung mga panahon na yun kung saan bata pa kami. Hmmm time flies nga naman...
