It's overkill, I tell you! I mean you enter Landmark at the 2nd level, they check your bags. You exit landmark and enter Glorietta proper, they check your bags again. You exit Glorietta and enter SM, they check your bags again. At rush hour the queue is sooooo long. Do I think it's effective? It's a 50/50 proposition. I mean sometimes the guard on duty throughly checks your bag. On certain days where a different guard is on duty, they just take a quick peak and wave you in.

Why all those checks? Yeah, I know it's for security and all that but it seems that the security detail of SM does not trust the security detail of Glorietta who in turn does not trust the security detail at Landmark.

It can be a pain especially at times when:

    1. The line is long.
    2. You have stuff you carry in separate bags (because you need to open them everytime.

Sheesh. If you ask me, there's no sane logic behind this.

Why don't they just invest a special equipment for it just like the hotels?

Well, isipin mo na lang that it's for our own protection.

As if naman na maglagay ng bomba sa ilalim ng kotse. Hehehe :D

Yep, I agree pero question is: alam ba nila ba hitsura ng hinahanap nila? However, if you would take a closer look, medyo hindi na atta applicable yung ibang shapes dun. I mean, mayrun dun hawig sa isang WWI areal bomb.

Going back to the topic, ang hirap eh - lalo na pag marami kang dala.

actually... that's just a psychological security measure.

like what the NYPD is doing right now when they are deploying their Hercules team randomly around NY.

Honestly they do not know what they are looking for.

I once brought a hard disk in. Tinanong kung ano yun. Sabi ko hard disk. Sabi nya ok.
